The Danish Government's objective is to reduce the enterprises' administrative burdens with up to 25 % before 2010. To reach this target the Danish Ministry of Finance, the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Danish Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs have developped a systematic approach to simplification of rules, which is described in the publication "Guide to systematic simplification". This guide can be used by all ministries starting out their simplification task by introducing a range of tools and methods for how to go about the effort of simplification.
